"I know you're thinking, 'Why don't we put him in a movie?' And that's why I'm writing them so that they're like characters who have so much to say and people can enjoy them without even getting a glimpse of the world that actually exists. That's my goal with my next book."

"That's why it's better to write stories for kids. When I was younger and they were still playing, I used to think that when I was trying to get all these great characters in a comic book, I was just doing a shitty job trying to get a kid to enjoy all these great things. The thing that was really weird was that I didn't get out of this job. I wouldn't even think about how awesome all of these little guy's were."
So, what do you feel at this point? What are you
