He turned back to the camera and the man on the other end of the line pulled out his iPhone to try to help her out with work. One of the men looked at his watch, followed his gaze, then tried, with the other, the red button to call a voicemail, and they tried. It never worked.

"Why don't you talk to the guy at the door now?" the woman in him asked, and as his wife left the room to head over to the girl standing by, she pulled open the door, turned on her phone again, and rang the guy's number.

"We're here to talk to some guy you like at a meeting at a nearby bar," the man told her.

"Thanks," she said, walking out, and went directly into the kitchen. She took a small plastic tube, pulled out a small plastic spoon and turned it over, then put it in the microwave and put the bowl down. She then poured on more water and put the spoon back on the sink.

"I just had a drink in here about halfway through," he said, and they both drank
